ANTIQUE COBALT BLUE POISON BOTTLE
What a unique find. This antique cobalt blue Bromo-Seltzer bottle from the Emerson Drug Company. Bromides are a class of tranquilizers that were withdrawn from the U.S. market in 1975 due to their toxicity and labeled POISONS. Their sedative effect probably accounted for Bromo-Seltzer's popularity as a hangover remedy. This bottle is about 2 3/4 inches tall and all writing is embossed on the bottle. It is not cracked but was not cleaned before being photographed. THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION.
